Pupils were involved in engagement workshops to devise and develop designs for the manifestation artwork.

An extract from the blog states;

We planned to get the project kick started with some 'stretching' art exercises designed to loosen up any inhibitions the pupils might feel. So out came the big roll of paper and brushes taped to withies for the first experiment - mark making using only lines and diluted acrylic paints. A slightly nervous start soon turned into exuberant painting with pupils really getting into the process.

We then moved on to producing smaller A3 line paintings working individually and then progressed that into more refined drawings using chalks. The process is designed to get kids into using materials, exploring the medium and then beginning to apply a reasoning process to decision making. Using viewfinders we isolated sections of the work produced and took digital photos as a record.
