A series of line patterns were developed which were deployed as DDA compliant bands on glazing screens within the building. The concept was derived from a tour of the building during its construction phase when students noticed the quantity of exposed wiring, trunking and pipework. The bands were distilled into patterns for generic areas ( school wide) , the canteen area, science and technology. A barcode design was used for all the external perimeter glazing - this barcode is scannable and reveals the phrase ' High Expectations'.
