Meadows SEN School
Cantoo was commissioned by Staffordshire County Council to work with pupils to deliver an arts feasibility study. The study resulted in commissions to develop the interior finishes as well as a series of special art features designed in conjunction with pupils from Meadows School as well Leek Moorlands High School, Springfield Special School and Churnett View School.

The colour palette and finishes schedule were an important finishing touch to what is a light, spacious and impressive building and in my opinion were significant in blurring the division between old and new which has been a particular triumph here.
