Manifestation designs were used throughout the building partly in order to comply with DDA regulations but also to animate the glazing areas. An oak leaf cluster was designed as a DDA style 'dot' and the inner courtyard - the heart zone - used leaf drawings generated through by design workshop with pupils.

In the pool hall area a coloured etch vinyl design was used to screen pupils swimming in the pool and complemented the mosaic tile designs.
