Subsequent to the conclusion of the AIR scheme we were asked to design a waymarker scheme to help pedestrians walk through the Watton East area. Due to the hoiusing scheme there were numerous walkways and intersections which confused pedestrians - even those who were local! We developed a series of waymarker posts with North, South, East and West zoning and the name of the walkway. The walkway 'finger' sign was intended to be reminiscent of a wing and Hermes, the messenger.
