We worked with a local group of 'at risk' young people on a public art scheme as a way of enableing the participants to engage with their community with positive outcomes. The result  - a totemic mosaic installation in a newly built high school. The process included sanding and carving railway sleepers which then had the mosaics set into their facets. The installation on site included the participants who excavated, set in place and then concreted in the mosaic beams.
