We worked with pupils to create an iconographic banner to represent the ethos of the school and the personalities of the pupils. Working with the art department - we collected images and produced initial artwork exploring woven montage concepts. These were then further developed into the concepts for the banner. Words were woven into the artwork to suggest key statements about the pupils along with significant numbers. The resulting fractured imagery suggests the presence of the pupils and the way in which their lives are woven into the fabric of the building.
