Manifestations + Super graphics

An important part of developing an interior scheme is the design of an integrated wayfinding plan. We used colour and super graphics to re-inforce the identity of the school and to take into account that most of the pupils use visual cues to help them understand the building. DDA requirements also provide an opportunity for a design input which can add to the overall branding of the site.

Each of the stairwells had a different seasonal birch forest super graphic and the main stairwell had a specially designed seaweed graphic. All part of the transition wayfinding from ground floor to first floor.

The GOG logo derived from the turning circle sculpture was used for DDA dots as well as on glazing screens around the building.

General signage included large male and female toilet symbols as well as a special colour changing LED cafe sign.
