Pupils explored colour scheme ideas in workshops held in the library space. Issues discussed included how colours contributed to the learning environment, whether colour palette choices were gender specific and the extent to which the colour palette should reflect existing choices in the rest of the school. Ultimately a colour palette was selected which had a fresh contemporary feel whilst reinforcing the brief to help deliver an environment that was conducive to quiet study.
